Give your ear a tug, practice your Tarzan yell, and do your best not to break out laughing on stage, because Blaine Community Theater is holding auditions for “Let’s Bump Up the Lights”, a collection of skits from television classic The Carol Burnette Show.
An anthology of skits from the original television show, we’ll be looking for an array of actors high school age and up. Auditioners should be prepared for cold reading, and there will be plenty of opportunities for auditioners and volunteers to find roles backstage and in pre-production as well. Final performances will be around Mother’s Day weekend in May.
The auditions for “Let’s Bump Up the Lights” will take place at the Blaine Middle School cafeteria, on Sunday, March 23rd and Monday, March 24th at 7 pm.
