Sponsoring Blaine Community Theater helps keep theater and performing arts alive in Blaine.
Sponsorship money received by Blaine Community Theater goes first into the production costs of individual shows: scripts, costumes, make-up, sets, props, and space for performances and rehearsals (the majority of our production costs are in renting space!). Next, sponsorship money goes to operational expenses, such as performance rights, insurance, and other incidentals. All other money goes to a savings account as we save up to afford our own performance space, reducing the largest portion of our overhead and giving us more options for performances. Blaine Community Theater is an all volunteer organization–we have no paid employees!
Sponsoring Blaine Community Theater can benefit your business in several ways. Sponsorship options will bring your advertising directly to BCT’s audience through our show programs and posters. Sponsorship also includes tickets to the shows, which make great gifts to friends, family, business partners, and employees. And since BCT is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, all donations to BCT are write-offs for your next tax season!

BLAINE COMMUNITY THEATRER SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES
Advertising Sponsor – Advertising sponsors receive an ad in a show’s program, a logo/image and link on the Blaine Community Theater website “Sponsors” page for the season, and tickets to the sponsored show.
- ¼ page, sponsor page placement, 2 tickets – $100
- ½ page, sponsor page placement, 4 tickets – $150
- Full page, sponsor page placement, 6 tickets – $225
- Add your logo to the show poster – +$100
Presenting Sponsor ($1000/$2000) – Presenting sponsors are given a “presented by” status in conjunction with the show title in all advertising and communications (each show may have up to two $1000 presenters, or one exclusive $2000 presenter). Presenting sponsors also have their logo placed in the show advertising, receive a program ad (their choice sizing), and logo/image and link on the show page and Sponsors page of the website for the season. They also receive 10 tickets to the sponsored production and access to special group rate pricing for further tickets.
Season Sponsor ($3000) – Season sponsors are acknowledged as “20xx-20xx Season Sponsor” on all performance advertising and communications for the sponsored season. Season sponsors also have their logo placed in show advertising, receive a program ad (sizing of their choice), and logo/image and link on the Home page and Sponsor page of the theater website for the season. They will also receive 10 tickets to each full production and access to special group rate pricing for further tickets.
Private Performance ($750/+$500 to Season/Presenting Sponsor) – This sponsorship allows the sponsor to purchase all the seats in the house for a private performance. The sponsor may resell the seats as a fundraiser, or use the seats themselves to hold a private event in conjunction with the performance. Private Performance sponsors also receive a logo/image and link on the BCT’s sponsorship page for the season.
Youth Spotlight Scholarship Sponsor ($300 – This sponsorship creates a scholarship to allow a student to sign up for BCT’s Youth Spotlight summer program that would not otherwise be able to afford it on their own. Scholarship Sponsors will also receive a ¼ page ad in the Youth Spotlight show’s program, a logo/image and link on the Spotlight and Sponsors webpage for the season, and 2 tickets to a Youth Spotlight performance.
Youth Spotlight Program Sponsor ($500) – This sponsorship goes to the Youth Spotlight summer program, where middle and high school students from across Whatcom County are instructed and taught to put together a theatrical performance during the summer. Program Sponsors get their logo on the Youth Spotlight t-shirt, a ¼ page ad in the show program, a logo/image and link on the Spotlight and Sponsors webpage for the season, and 4 tickets to a Youth Spotlight performance.
It takes many materials and services to keep BCT productions rolling. Because of this, we are also willing to discuss trade/in-kind sponsorship opportunities.
