Blaine Community Theater was founded in 1999 as a way to bring more community theater projects to the northwest corner of Whatcom County. The theater went dark in 2010 but came roaring back in 2018. The theatre was re-launched by a collection of new and former members, with an eye to return community theatre entertainment and education to Blaine and nearby communities.
These days, Blaine Community Theater is a nomadic organization. We have no facilities to call our own, so we partner with local businesses and organizations whenever possible. Attempts are made every year to hit our three big staples–a Halloween show, a Christmas show, and summer water balloon shows–we are especially proud of, and grateful for, our relationship with Blaine High School!
