Seeking actors for one of modern theater’s most beloved shows…
Blaine Community Theater is very excited to announce that we are having auditions for our next production, “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [abridged]” by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield!
Rather than doing a large cattle call audition (which we’ve had poor luck with in the past), we’ll be asking interested auditioners to contact us either through the Contact page or at our email at blainecommunitytheater@gmail.com. From there, we’ll let you know when and where the general audition is occurring (and attempting to make other arrangements for anyone unable to make the general audition).
There are roles for 3 actors; any age and gender is fine, so long as you’re able to keep up high energy and can interact with a crowd. For auditions, we’ll be asking that auditioners prepare a short Shakespearean monologue and come ready to tell an short interesting anecdote about themselves.
The rehearsal schedule is going start June 24, and performances will run from August 9 to 18 at the Blaine High School Black Box Theater.
